Bossard Posts Strong Profit

Swiss fastener maker Bossard Holding AG reported revenue grew 11% to CHF 203.4 million (US$172.7 million) from May through August 2007. Net profit during the four-month period soared 67% to CHF 15.7 million (US$13.3m).
Revenue during the first eight months of 2007 grew 8.1% to CHF 407.5 million (US$348.7m), while net income jumped 59% to CHF 22.7 million (US$19.4m), boosted by strong growth in Asia and Europe.
