The Bossard Group labeled its first-half results a “solid performance,” with sales down 7.4% to CHF 399.4 million ($423.4 million) – “mostly owing to the measures taken by numerous governments to curb the pandemic, which led to a substantial decline in demand from our customer.”
Sales in North America declined 19.5% to CHF 42.8 million, while sales in Europe fell 15.1% and sales in Asia slipped 1.6% to CHF 66.9 million.
“We managed to achieve positive growth rates in South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore, and even hit a new sales record in Taiwan,” the company stated.
Gross profit totaled CHF 41 million, with a margin of 10.3%. Web: Bossard.com
