Bossard Signals International Growth

The Bossard Group continued to expand its presence in South East Asia by opening a new distribution center and office in Malaysia.

The complex, built in the Penang Science Park in Bukit Minyak, includes storage capacity of 800 tons. Bossard Malaysia has capacity for 80 employees.

“Our new center in Malaysia provides the basis for continued growth in this region of the world. We can use it to approach more directly our customers and serve them even more efficiently”, stated CEO David Dean.

The announcement comes weeks after U.S. electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla awarded Bossard a three-year, $140 million contract to provide production fasteners, engineering and logistical services. In response, Bossard opened a new distribution center near the Tesla factory in Fremont, CA. ©2014 GlobalFastenerNews.com
