Brighton-Best International completed the acquisition of disposable glove supplier CleanFit Associates Inc.

BBI management noted the acquisition is part of expanding “beyond its traditional base of industrial and construction fasteners.” BBI initially expanded with Proferred Tools & Consumables and Ironclad Performance Wear for Safety Gloves.

CleanFit president Robert Virden said working with Brighton-Best will allow leveraging “the scale and capital BBI can provide to bring the brand to the next level.”

Memphis-based CleanFit Associates manufactures personal protective equipment in Asia, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Malaysia, China and Indonesia, and sells to retailers, c-stores, distributors, the food industry and industrial market. Web: ReadyGloves.com and CleanFitAssociates.com
