Bufab Expanding in the UK

Redditch-based fastener firm Bufab UK is expanding.

Bufab signed a lease on a 14,114 sq ft facility at Unit 49, Heming Road, Washford Industrial Estate, the Business Desk reports.

“With the UK coming out of recession and the car industry expanding rapidly, we are hoping to capitalise on the opportunities being presented,” stated Chris Koumides, managing director of Bufab UK.

Bufab Group supplies and manufactures nuts, bolts, screws and other small parts, with 30 companies worldwide, sales of more than £200 million and 700 employees.

Bufab carries 125,000 standard and special fasteners, c-parts and Bufab was acquired by Nordic Group in 2005.
