Sweden-based Bufab Group reported sales during the third quarter of 2018 rose 22% to SEK 895 million (US$97.9 million), which included 9% organic growth. Operating profit rose 15.7% to SEK 81 million and the operating margin declined to 9.1%.
Q3 order intake increased 19% and “was in line with net sales.”
“We are satisfied with the quarter and optimistic about the rest of the year,” stated CEO Jörgen Rosengren.
At the end of the quarter, Bufab acquired Rudhäll Industri AB. Rudhäll Industri has annual sales of SEK 210 million.
Sales during the first nine months of 2018 increased 19% to SEK 2.82 billion, including organic growth of 10%. Operating profit rose 18.7% to SEK 285 million and the operating margin was 10.1%. Web: Bufab.com
