Bufab’s rate of organic sales decline was 25% in May,  down from April’s 30% sales drop, Fastener + Fixing Magazine reports.  Total sales in May fell 10%.

“During the month, we saw a gradual recovery of the demand from our customers in Europe and North America, but from low levels and to some extent slowed by inventory adjustments,” stated CEO Jörgen Rosengren.  “We expect this trend toward a recovery to continue in June.”

All of Bufab’s subsidiaries have reduced their costs with “short time work schemes, balancing the number of hours worked with organic growth.”  Web: Bufab.com
