Bufab Group reported its CFO, Thomas Ekström, has decided to leave Bufab effective July 31, 2017.

Ekström began working for Bufab in 1999 and has been CFO since 2005.  In 2016 he added IR director to his duties.

“During many years, Thomas Ekström has been a strong contributor to the development of the Bufab Group to a leading European player in our industry,” stated CEO Jörgen Rosengren.  “I would like to thank him for his excellent work, and for his commitment to ensuring a successful transition to his successor.  I wish Thomas the best of luck in his future challenges.”

The process to recruit a successor has already begun.

Founded in 1977, Sweden-based Bufab supplies industrial fasteners, with operations in 24 countries and 940 employees.  Bufab’s net sales for the past 12 months amounted to SEK 2.8 billion and the operating margin was 9%.  Web: bufab.com
