Canada’s AGS Group Acquired By French Firm

The FDS Group acquired fasteners and gaskets supplier AGS Group Inc. of Canada.

Established in 1979, AGS — now renamed AGS Flexitallic — operates locations in Edmonton, Calgary, Sarnia, Grand Prairie and Red Deer to support the oil and gas industries throughout Canada.

Since 2002 AGS has been the exclusive manufacturing licensee and distributor for Flexitallic in Canada, providing advanced manufacturing, sales and engineering support to the oil and gas market. Web: agsgroup.com

Jerry Lastovica, CEO of FDS-owned Flexitallic LP, will have responsibility for the new acquisition.

“AGS offers great synergies to further our mission of improving industrial processes and safety of operations in diverse industrial sectors,” stated Remi Toledano, CEO of the FDS Group.

Headquartered in Paris, France, the FDS Group specializes in sealing solutions and products serving oil and gas industries, power generation, chemical and petrochemical industries in emerging and developed markets throughout the world. 

The FDS Group, established in 2004, has owned manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Germany and China and an extensive network of licensed manufacturers throughout the world.
