Kevin Chavis of Star Stainless Screw was re-elected president of the Pacific-West Fastener Association for a third term.

Chris McCaffrey of R&D Fasteners was re-elected vice president, and Ron Stanley of Empire Bolt & Screw was re-elected secretary/treasurer.

Elected to three-year board terms are: Trevor Borland, Pacific Bolt Manufacturing, New Westminster, BC; Joshua Hutton of American Bolt & Screw, Fontana, CA; and Scott Webb, Bisco Industries, San Diego.

Other board  members are Corey Bell, THB Inc., Salt Lake City; Steve Kendall, Portland Screw Company; Gigi Linsalata, Copper State Bolt & Nut, Phoenix; Beth Van Zandt, Desert Distribution, Santa Clarita, CA; and Doug Weiland, Stelfast, Milpitas, CA.

Retiring board members Hans Fuller, Fuller, Surrey, BC; Alison Hubbard, North State Fastener, Sunnyvale, CA; and Clay Weaver, Industrial Threaded Products, Brea, CA.


Pac-West’s spring conference marking the association’s 50th anniversary will be April 18-21, 2018, at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ. The summer conference will be August 8-11, 2018, at Grouse Mountain Lodge, Whitefish, Montana.
