China Fastener Exports Drop

China exported 15,000 tons of steel and copper fasteners in November, with the value totaling US$223.5 million, Xinhua News Agency reports.

During the first 11 months of 2009 China fastener exports dropped 42% to 1,450,000 tons, while the value declined 47% to 2.19 billion.

Fastener producers in China have struggled as fastener tariffs by the European Union curbed sales in 2009.
