China’s Baosteel Prices Flat for April
China’s Baoshan Iron and Steel Co Ltd. will keep prices of its major products unchanged in April, Reuters reports.
Baosteel decision to hold prices steady “reflects widespread uncertainty” about demand in the second quarter, according to Reuters.
The Chinese steelmaker raised hot-rolled coil and cold-rolled coil prices by 150 yuan ($23.83) per ton in March, anticipating improved steel demand that did not materialize.
