The Fastener Industry Coalition seeks nominations for the Industrial Fastener Expo Hall of Fame for 2022.

The IFE HoF recognizes professionals who have made significant and enduring contributions to the industrial fastener industry on a national or global scale.

All nominations are reviewed and evaluated by the Coalition board, which includes representatives from 13 regional and national fastener industry nonprofit associations.

It is the 40th anniversary of the IFE Hall of Fame.  It was started in 1982 by Mike McGuire and Jim Bannister, producers of the National Industrial Fastener Show in Columbus, OH.  The trade show was sold to Emerald Expositions in 2015.

Emerald asked the Fastener Industry Coalition to manage the selection process.

The website lists the 115 inductees of the IFE Hall of Fame.

Marty Nolan of R.L. English, an IFE HoF inductee and current chair of the Coalition, advised “when making nominations, remember that the team that reviews submissions may not be as familiar with the individuals as you are, so please be sure to include details that tell the nominee’s story and how they have made an impact on the fastener industry.”

Nominations are also being sought by July 30 for the 2022 Young Fastener Professional of the Year.  The honor is for people under 40 who are rising stars in the fastener industry.  Web: fastenershows.com/awards-events-page/young-fastener-professional-award.
