Cologne Show Expecting 2,600 Exhibiting Companies

The International Hardware Show expects 2,600 suppliers from 50 countries will exhibit at the March 4-7, 2012, trade show in Köln (Cologne), Germany.

Though Germany leads in the number of exhibiting companies, 80% of the suppliers will come from outside the host country. Italy will have the second most exhibiting companies, followed by UK, Spain and France. From overseas the largest contingents are from China, Taiwan, India and U.S.A.

In cooperation with the Central Association of the Hardware Trade (ZHH), Koelnmesse will present awards for top products in fastenings & fixings; tools; and industrial supply.  In cooperation with the German DIY, Building & Garden Specialist Stores, Koelnmesse will present a new sustainability award.

Internationale Eisenwarenmesse Köln has four segments: Fasteners and fixings, fittings; tools; industrial supply; and home improvement.

The show predicts 400 suppliers for the fixing an fastening section.  The largest will be the tool section with 1,500 companies. Web: eisenwarenmesse.com
