Columbus Sets Conferences

There will be a conference on �Mergers & Acquisitions� and a networking meeting for independent manufacturer reps in conjunction with the 22nd annual National Industrial Fastener Show/East.
Conference sessions will be on Monday, May 20, 2002, and the show on Tuesday at the Greater Columbus (OH) Convention Center.
There will be a Monday evening welcoming reception at the Hyatt Regency Columbus Hotel and a complimentary �Fastener Industry Trends & New Products Introduction� breakfast Tuesday, prior to the show opening.
Ben Taber and Tom Valerie of the Canterbury Group will speak at the merger workshop. Show partner Mike McGuire will moderate the reps meeting.
Engineer Jim Speck will present the previously announced one-day �Fastener Fundamentals� course.
In a departure from Columbus tradition, neither the Monday night Hall of Fame banquet nor the post-show distributor party are on the schedule. Show general partner Jim Bannister said the Hall of Fame banquet will be held in conjunction with the November Las Vegas show.
