Connecticut Fastener Maker Wins State Grant
Several Connecticut businesses have received assistance from the state’s Small Business Express program.
Among them is Bristol-based Century Spring Inc., the Fairfield County Business Journal reports.
Founded in 1927, Century Spring is a full-service manufacturer of high-quality custom springs and fasteners for MRO and OEM applications.
In 1997, Century Spring joined with MW Industries to become one of the top spring and specialty fastener manufacturers in the U.S.
The state program is being expanded to companies with as many as 100 employees — twice as many as under the original program created in 2011. ©2012 GlobalFastenerNews.com
