Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) said its August carbon steel sales declined, hurt by the lackluster steel demand, MySteel Global reports.

Sales totaled 883,690 tons, down 1% from the previous month. Year on year, sales declined 4.3%, according to MySteel Global.

CSC domestic sales accounted for 65%, “down 5 percentage points from July to a six-month low and making for a significant decline,” according to MySteel Global. Web: csc.com.tw
