Cunningham Succeeds Retiring Rothkopf as Semblex President

Don Cunningham will become president of Semblex Corporation upon the retirement of Bob Rothkopf this week.
Rothkopf started with Semblex in 2002 as sales & marketing consultant and joined the board of directors before becoming president in 2004.
Previously Rothkopf was president of the industrial division of Elco Products and president of the Camcar division of Textron in Rockford, IL.
Cunningham has worked with Semblex as an outside consultant and board member since early 2009. He previously was president of ATF Inc. and held senior management positions with other automotive suppliers.
Crains Chicago Business reported Semblex had $60 million in revenue and 215 employees for 2008.
Founded in 1968 by Daniel Haerther and three employees as a manufacturer of standard, small diameter fasteners at a single facility. Semblex remains a privately held company providing fastening solutions and complex, cold formed specialty components. Semblex is located at 199 W.
