Danaher Tools & Components Profit Drops Despite Sales Gain

Danaher Corp. reported Tools & Components segment sales, including fasteners, rose 4.3% to $1.35 billion, but operating profit slid 2.6% to $194.06 million.
During the fourth quarter of 2006 Tools & Components sales grew 6.5% to $371.8 million, while operating profit gained 7% to $54.5 million.
