Dörken Acquires Electroplater
LP Oberflachentechnik GmbH
Dörken Corporation USA parent company Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH of Germany acquired LP Oberflachentechnik GmbH (LPO).
LPO develops and markets specialized products for the electroplating industry.
“The acquisition represents a broadening of our product portfolio into existing as well as new markets,” stated Frederick Schultz, VP of Dörken Corporation USA.
The centerpiece of the LPO product range is its electroplating bath systems that meet both economic and environmental performance demands of the industry. Dörken manufactures multifunctional, micro-layer corrosion protection systems.
