Alan Beaulieu’s comments to the spring 2012 meeting of the National Fastener Distributors Association:

• “We are healing quite nicely from the great recession.”

• Historically there are recessions every nine to 13 years.

• Corporations have put away $2 trillion plus banks have money to lend.

• Prepare your children for a depression in the 2030s.

• How much should you invest in your company now? “Until you can’t sleep at night,” Beaulieu said.

• Younger workers don’t know what inflation is.
