EGC Enterprises Inc. has begun producing RotaBolt tension control fasteners for the wind energy market. EGC is the North American licensee for U.K.-based James Walker RotaBolt.

The critical wind turbine bolted joints feature tension control at installation and tension monitoring throughout the life of the bolted joint. By monitoring fastener stretch, RotaBolt allows operations and maintenance crews to achieve and maintain +/-5% tension accuracy by means of instant bolt-tension maintenance checks.
