Endries International Inc. acquired K&L Sales Inc.  Both are Wisconsin-based fastener companies.

K&L distributes fasteners, including multiple proprietary brands, and provides VMI.  K&L also operates an installation tool repair center.

K&L was founded in Waukesha, WI, in 1985 by brothers Dave Knebes and Tom Knebes to distribute riveting products and installation tools.  Both brothers had fastener experience in the Midwest.  K&L started in a small warehouse in a Waukesha industrial park with the brothers making sales calls in the morning and shipping orders at the end of the day.  

By 1988 K&S built an office / warehouse in Waukesha.  An outside sales force and more product lines were added to serve the Wisconsin and northern Illinois markets.

Today K&L distributes everything from its original pop rivets and installation tools to AVK threaded inserts, Huck fasteners and Emhart rivets cap screws, cable ties.

In 2020, K&L moved to a 21,000 sq ft building in Hartland, WI.  K&L has 20 employees.

Hartland is close to Milwaukie, about 95 miles south of Endries’ headquarters.

Endries is marking its 50th anniversary in 2020.  Today, Endries has 825 employees across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Asian Pacific and China.  Endries has nine distribution centers handling 500,000 SKUs.
