Endries International has been sold to Ferguson Enterprises\, Endries president Steve Endries told FIN. Endries now operates as a Ferguson subsidiary. More details about the acquisition will be available in the coming weeks, Steve Endries exlained.
Founded in 1970, Endries operated as a family-owned fastener distributor and inventory management company for 35 years. The Brillion, WI-based firm employs over 450 people and reported sales of $145 million in 2004.
Newport News, VA-based Ferguson distributes plumbing supplies, pipes, valves and fittings from more than 1,000 locations in the U.S., Mexico and Puerto Rico. Ferguson is owned by the UK-based Wolseley Group, which had sales of $19.8 billion in fiscal 2005. �2005 FastenerNews.com
