Fabory Boosts Grainger Sales in November

Grainger reported a 15% jump in November sales, which included a 5 percentage point contribution from acquisitions and 10% organic growth, including 10 percentage points from volume and 2 percentage points from price.

Sales in the U.S. grew 9%, while sales in Canada gained 14% and emerging market sales jumped 97% primarily through acquisitions.

In August Grainger completed its acquisition of Netherlands-based fastener distributor Fabory Group for about $344 million. Fabory sells 80,000 products to 120,000 customers from 110 locations in 14 countries, with projected 2011 revenue of $350 million.
