Four fastener companies ranked between 15th and 161st in 2006 revenue out of 171 public companies in Chicago, according to Crain”s Chicago Business.

” Illinois Tool Works Inc. is 15th with revenue of $14.1 billion, up 9.9% from 2005. ITW reported a 12.2% profit margin and 55,000 employees. Crain”s noted ITW acquired 52 companies during 2006. Web: itw.com
