Fastener Fair to Launch Russia Trade Show
Mack Brooks Exhibitions and a Russian joint venture partner, Restec-Brooks, will launch a trade show in St. Petersburg in 2013.
Fastener Fair Russia will be March 12-14, 2013 at the Lenexpo Exhibition Centre in St Petersburg. The show will be co-located with the sheet metal trade show, BLECH Russia.
Mack Brooks cited Russia’s 4.1% rise in its GDP in 2011, infrastructure projects such as the US$23b high-speed rail from Moscow to St. Petersburg, plus hosting the 2014 Winter Olympics and 2018 World Cup as business opportunities for investors and manufacturers.
“This positive economic development in Russia together with an increasing demand from companies in the fastener and fixings sector to approach this important market, made us launch a new Fastener Fair in St. Petersburg, Russia’s fastest growing industrial region” exhibition director Susanne Rauberger said.
The St. Petersburg region includes automotive and shipbuilding production, R&D, robotics, IT, metalworking and the electronics industry.
Exhibits will include industrial fasteners and fixings, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems, fastener manufacturing technology as well as storage and logistics services.
