Fastener Inventory Planner / Buyer

As an Inventory Planner/Buyer for our Fastener Division you will perform planning activities including material analysis and planning, consumption analysis, purchase request generation, to ensure on time delivery to the customers, as well as, minimizing inventory carrying costs. The successful candidate will:

 

Manage supplier delivery issues, providing strategic analysis and recommendations to management for material handling and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Deploy planning tools to guarantee high level of customer service to customers, maintain accurate and timely manner of MRP system including master records, BOM’s, etc..

Be able to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work while also being an individual contributor.

What you bring to the table:

Strong customer service orientation.

Strong organizational abilities, oral & written communications and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Order Fulfillment processes and inventory management methodologies

Ability to analyze and make improvement recommendations

Inventory level management and planning, matching forecast demand with on hand, on order, or in transit quantities

Experience in planning and buying Industrial Fasteners is a Huge plus.
