The Fastener Training Institute is offering a three-part Fastener Basics course.
The course is designed for new employees; those needing to know more about the fasteners they sell; and warehouse, sales and purchasing employees.
Each 90-minute training video is led by Carmen Vertullo.
Part 1 includes Hex head products, nuts, washers, rivets, sockets, materials, manufacturing methods, standards, calling out parts, screw sizes and how to use the IFI resources.
Part 2 includes screw drives, head styles and threads, washers, coating & finishes, hydrogen embrittlement, large threaded fasteners, thread designations and thread forms.
Part 3 includes rivets, pins, anchors, metric fasteners, self-locking and sealing fasteners, inspection and quality.
