Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. reported Supply Technologies revenue, including fasteners, increased 3.4% to $578.7 million in 2015, driven by strong demand in the heavy-duty truck market, up 12%; the power sports and recreational equipment market, up 12%; and the semiconductor market, up 21%.
“Our fastener manufacturing division generated an increase of sales of 20% in 2015 primarily from the automotive market,” the company stated.
Overall Park-Ohio sales climbed 6.1% to $1.46 billion in 2015, with net income gaining 4% to $48.7 million.
2014
Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. reported Supply Technologies revenue, including fasteners, increased 18.6% to $560 million in 2014, driven by a 30% increase in the heavy-duty truck market; the power sports and recreational equipment market, which grew 21%; the semiconductor market, which was up 56%; and the HVAC market, which was up 15%.
“Our fastener manufacturing division generated sales increases of 9% in 2014,” the company stated.
Overall Park-Ohio sales climbed 15% to $1.38 billion during 2014,with net income gaining 7% to $46.9 million.
2013
Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. reported Supply Technologies revenue, including fasteners, declined 3.6% to $471.9 million in 2013, due to a 13% decline in volume associated with the heavy-duty truck market and a 25% decline in volume associated with the defense industry market. Segment profit fell 5% to $35.9 million, while segment income margin declined to 7.6% from 7.8%.
Overall Park-Ohio sales climbed 6% to $1.2 billion during 2013, with full-year income increasing 12.6% to $86.5 million and net income rose 38% to $43.9 million.

Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. reported Supply Technologies revenue, including fasteners, edged up 1% to $489.6 million, boosted by volume increases and price gains. Segment profit increased 7.8% to $33.7 million, while capital expenditures increased 25% to $1.6 million.
Overall Park-Ohio sales climbed to $1.13 billion during 2012, with full-year income increasing 36% to $76.8 million and net income rose 8% to $31.8 million.
2011
Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. reported Supply Technologies revenue, including fasteners, climbed 23% to $493 million, boosted by volume increases and price gains. Full-year income increased 46% to $32.6 million. Segment gross margins were unchanged, while capital expenditures declined 9% to $1.46 million.
In 2011 84% of Supply Technologies’ sales were to domestic customers.
Overall Park-Ohio sales rose 19% to $966.6 million during 2011, with full-year gross profit growing 25% to $167.3 million and net income nearly doubling to $29.4 million.

Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. reported sales rose 16% to $813.5 million during 2010. Full-year net income reached $15.2 million versus a loss of $5.2 million the year before.
2009
Park-Ohio’s Supply Technologies reported revenue, including fasteners, rose 13.5% to $94.2 million during the opening quarter of 2010, while operating income swelled to $4.5 million.
“We are pleased with the start to 2010,” stated CEO Edward Crawford. “Most business units performed ahead of our expectations and continue to build momentum for the balance of the year.”
Supply Technologies revenue dropped 37% to $328.8 million in 2009, primarily due to volume reductions in the heavy-duty truck industry. Segment operating income remained stable.

Park-Ohio’s Supply Technologies reported revenue, including fasteners, dropped 1.9% to $521.3 million in 2008, while operating income slipped to a $74.8 million loss. Capital expenditures were cut 87% to $931,000.

HISTORY
Park-Ohio entered the fastener business in 1995 by acquiring RB&W. Subsequent fastener acquisitions included Arden Industrial Products Inc., Arcon Fastener Corp., Delo Screw Products Co., Direct Fasteners, Gateway Industrial Supply and Columbia Nut & Bolt Corp. and Purchased Parts Group Inc.
In July 2005, Park-Ohio acquired Memphis, TN-based Purchased Parts Group Inc., an international distributor of production fasteners and other class C components.
Supply Technologies provides logistics services for 175,000 production components, including fasteners, to OEMs, other manufacturers and distributors. ILS also engineers and manufactures precision cold formed and cold extruded products, including locknuts, SPAC nuts and wheel hardware.
In November 2007 Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. changed the name of its Integrated Logistics Solutions business to Supply Technologies. The company’s business units include Columbia Nut and Bolt, NABS, and Direct Fasteners Ltd., which will also operate under the Supply Technologies name.
In February 2007 Park-Ohio announced the closure of its RB&W plant in Kent, OH. The plant manufactures cold-formed auto fasteners. Production will reportedly be moved to a Park-Ohio facility in Canada. RB&W found it could make fasteners more cheaply near Toronto.
ILS acquired New York-based fastener distributor NABS Inc. for $21.2 million in October 2006. NABS has five domestic and 14 international locations, with sales of $45 million in supplying the computer, electronics and consumer products industries.
