FIN SURVEY

Nearly half of FIN Survey participants granted pay raises averaging 5.4% in 2010, while a solid 50% reported no pay raises for the year.

By contrast, more than three quarters of FIN Survey participants reported their company did not give pay raises in 2009.

There were exceptions in 2009 as 16.9% gave raises ranging from 1% to 5%; 1.2% upped pay between 6% and 9% and 3.6% reported raises of 10% or more.

This year looks to be different. More than 68% of survey participants say they will increase employee pay in 2011, with 62% eyeing a raise from 1% to 10%, and 6% expecting to grant raises in excess of 10%. ©2011 GlobalFastenerNews.com
