FIN SURVEY

With a 45% majority of companies in the FIN Company Performance Index reporting overall performance improved for 2010, the FIN Company Performance Index rose to 6.2 from a record low of 3.8 for 2009.
 

The high in the 17 years of the FIN Index was 7.9 for 1994.
 

At the end of 2009 no company pegged itself in the top ratings, compared with 28% reporting “Strong” increase in performance for 2010 plus 37% rating improvement as “Moderate.”
 

Only 2% reported the fastener companies participating in the End of 2010 FIN Survey faired worse in 2010 than 2009.
