FIN SURVEY

Half of all fastener companies added jobs in 2012, up from 43% the previous year. About 36% reported job growth under 10%, while an additional 14% of companies reported job growth above 10%.
Just over three in ten survey participants held the line on their workforce, with no additions or cuts reported for 2012.  

And just under 20% of FIN Survey respondents reported jobs cuts, with 17% of companies trimming their workforce by less than 10%, and an additional 2% of companies cutting more than 10% of jobs.

Just over four in ten FIN Survey participants predict job growth and only 2% anticipate cutting jobs.

Nearly 70% increased wages an average of 3.9%.
