Free Registration for Fastener Tech 2015
Ends June 3
Free registration for exhibit and reception passes for Fastener Tech 2015 is available until June 3.
The fifth biennial Fastener Tech ’15 will be June 8-10, 2015, at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL – near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Click HERE to register online.
As of June 4 the registration will be $50.
Five topics for conferences during Fastener Tech 15 range from an all-day Fastener Technology Workshop to sessions on industry trends, “buyers beware,” manufacturing fasteners from beginning to end to 21st century changes.
The events are co-sponsored by the Mid-West Fastener Association and Fastener Technology International.
Monday:
Fastener Technology Workshop with Bengt Blenfulf of EduPro US Inc., by the Fastener Training Institute, 8:30 am to 4:40 pm.
Tuesday:
• “A Discussion on Latest Industry Trends.” led by FCH Sourcing Network. 8:30 am – 9:45 am. Panel of three industry leaders, moderated by Eric Dudas of FCH Sourcing Network.
• “Buyers Beware” seminar by Mid-West Fastener Association, 10 am – 11:30 am. Safeguards against ordering wrong manufactured, plated or imported parts to minimize risks and loss of profits.
• Making Fastener from Beginning to End, 1 p.m. to 3:30 pm, by Fastener Technology International. Fundamentals of fastener manufacturing from cold forming and thread rolling through heat treatment, coating and plating, quality control and packaging.
• “People and Organization Management in the 21st Century,” by Women in the Fastener Industry, 3 pm to 4 pm. Renee Giacalone, senior manager for Centric Consulting of Chicago; and Lou Aderman, a manufacturers rep with The Aderman Co. Inc.; coach/consultant; and WIFI co-founder.
There will be a Technology Center reception, 4 pm to 5 pm on Tuesday, followed by the All Industry Reception from 5 pm to 7 pm.
MWFA’s 63rd annual Golf Outing will be on Monday.
