Glebar Company is updating its service department. Glebar is replacing precision grinding “legacy machines” and retiring employees and launched “Glebar Customer Care.”
Glebar is combining resources and technology with the acquisition earlier this year of electrochemical grinding technology companies Tridex Technology and Everite.
“We want to allow our customers to focus on what they do best: Manufacturing quality products and delivering on time in support of their customers,” customer care VP Mark Scanel said. The changes are best for “maintaining a healthy supply chain” by minimizing downtime and maximizing capabilities of their machines. As customer’s needs grow and technology advances, machine upgrades help to meet these changes while improving efficiencies. Glebar can deliver parts the next business day to minimized downtime.”
CEO Robert Baker noted that customer care changes help provide for customers “as their needs continue to evolve.”
Glebar hired Christopher DeFlori as operations VP.
