Honeywell Sales Remain Strong

Honeywell said sales during the third quarter of 2004 rose 11% to $6.4 billion, while net income improved 8.1% to $372 million. “Each of our operating segments experienced increased orders and organic sales growth,” stated CEO Dave Cote. “Segment profit increased 20% due to good volume conversion, offset by higher raw material costs.”
Overall aerospace revenue grew 11%, boosted by gains in commercial sales to airline companies. Defense and space sales grew 3%.
