Horst Engineering & Manufacturing Co. opened a new plant in Connecticut.  Horst acquired a 100,566 sq ft warehouse in 2019 to renovate into a state-of-the-art computer-aided manufacturing facility.

CEO Scott Livingston said Horst may have found lower costs in other locations, but the local workforce is “so highly skilled” that it offsets other costs.  About 90 employees work at the facility.  The new plant is at 141 Prestige Park Rd., East Hartford, CT 06108-1923.  Tel: 860 289-8209
