Hudson Fasteners Wins Family-Owned Business Award

Hudson Fasteners Inc. was given the family-owned business of the year award at the Youngstown Business Incubator. The award recognizes multi-generation family-owned businesses.
U.S. Small Business Administration district director Gil Goldberg told Vindy.com that the third-generation fastener distributor was selected from small businesses in 22 northern Ohio counties.
Founded in 1946 in Brooklyn, Hudson Fasteners is now based in northeastern Ohio. Vindy.com reported Hudson invested $250,000 last year for software equipment to boost its business as an online wholesaler without its own inventory.
