The 2019 International Fastener Expo will have new preview hours for the international sourcing and machinery sections.

The trade show will be a month earlier than last year: September 17-19, 2019, at Mandalay Bay Resort on the south end of the famed “Las Vegas Strip.”

Exhibit Hall E with the SourceGlobal international exhibitor and the machinery / tooling sections will open two hours earlier than the full trade show for buyers and exhibitors to preview. Exhibit Hall D will be open 10am to 4pm on Wednesday and 9am to 4pm on Thursday.

IFE said the earlier September date is “directly related to exhibitor and attendee feedback” after the “Halloween” dates in 2018.

“We value and listen closely to our customers and work diligently to provide a can’t miss experience for buyers and vendors alike,” Emerald Expositions executive vice president Karalynn Sprouse said. “This is how we continue to grow.”

The 2019 IFE will continue the expanded conference schedule from 2018, which included topics such as tariffs, California’s prop 65, 3D printing and e-commerce.

“People come to IFE because this is where the entire industry gathers to build and connect, but also because we make sure to provide the most current and relatable content focused directly on what they need now and in the future,” IFE business development manager Morgan Wilson said.

Attendee registration begins April 15, 2019.  For IFE information: FastenerShows.com.

Founded in 1981 as the National Industrial Fastener Show in Columbus, OH, a western version opened in 1997 in Las Vegas. Emerald Expositions acquired NIFS after the 2015 show and the name was changed to IFE for 2017.

Show management forecasts 850 exhibiting companies and attendees from 30+ countries.

The trade show returned to Mandalay Bay for 2018 after several Las Vegas convention locations. It was at Mandalay Bay from 2007 through 2010.

IFE is owned and operated by Emerald Expositions, which operates 55 business-to-business trade shows drawing a half million participants. Web: EmeraldExpositions.com
