Jiaxing Fastener Group Eyes Export Growth in 2010

China’s Jiaxing Fasteners Import & Export Manufacturers Association reports that the city’s fastener export value dropped 47.7% to US$515.3 million.

The Chinese city has witnessed an export value of USD 515.29 million on fasteners although down by 47.77%YoY yet the decrease rate has shrunk by 5% compared with past three quarters.

The export value of steel fasteners accumulated at US$510.4 million down only 4% from the last three quarters. Copper fastener exports fell 47% to US$1.58 million, or down 15% from previous three quarters.

The Jiaxing association is reportedly optimistic about 2010 exports due to a weakening economic crisis, global government stimulus plans, confidence about handling trade disputes and the possible increase in the export rebate. ©2010 GlobalFastenerNews.com
