John Perine Co. Merges With Danforth Screw & Bolt
Seattle-based John Perine Co. has merged Danforth Screw & Bolt of Tracy, CA, to form Perine Danforth Company.
PDC remains in Seattle with Art Clark as general manager. The company will continue to operate a sales office in the Bay Area.
“We’re extremely pleased with the consolidation of two respected corporate brands and believe it offers our growing customer base many new and innovative distribution/marketing programs,” said PDC president Ian Carrus. “Danforth Screw & Bolt provided fastener service to its customers since the mid 1960s; while John Perine served its clientele for more than 70 years.”
PDC lists more than 40,000 unique line items and carries a large inventory of English and Metric standard parts in 35,000 sq ft of warehouse space. PDC carries an extensive inventory of structural bolts and cut-to-order threaded rod. Its inside sales, customer service and outside fastener specialists have combined experience of over 100 years, and average almost 20 years of experience.
Carrus said the company would continue to advance its VMI programs.
