KVT Koening Relocating North American Headquarters
KVT-Koenig Company History
KVT Koenig Verbindungstechnik was founded in 1927 under the name of Dr. Ing. Max Koenig AG as a light construction engineering business.
In 1950 the portfolio was extended through the launch of Fastening Solutions sales, twenty years later in 1970 the Expander business was launched.
Between 1973 and 2005 KVT Koenig established country organizations in Germany (1973), Austria (1992), Poland (2000) and Czech Republic (2005).
In 1988 the Debrunner-Koenig Holding (DKH) was founded as member of the Klöckner group.
Through the acquisitions of US-based Farmington in 2007 and Sherex in 2008 KVT was able to extend its continuously growing (trade) portfolio.
Through a leveraged Buy Out in 2008 KVT Koenig was detached from its former owner Debrunner Holding AG.
In 2009 KVT Slovenia and KVT Slovakia were founded.

KVT Koenig LLC is relocating its North American headquarters.
KVT Koening, which engineers and manufactures fasteners, signed a 17,608 sq ft lease at 73 Defco Park Road in North Haven, CT. The company will be moving into its new space by October.
A division of Switzerland-based KVT Group, KVT-Koenig LLC, will occupy 12,200 sq ft of warehouse space and 5,408 sq ft of office space in the building. The two-story, 30,000 square-foot industrial structure was built in 1966.
KVT-Koenig LLC was created by the 2008 merger of Farmington Engineering and Sherex Industries.
Headquartered in Madison, CT, KVT Koenig supplies high-end sealing plugs and fasteners for the aerospace, automotive, machinery, electronics and construction industries. ©2010 GlobalFastenerNews.com
