The Los Angeles Fastener Association added a new required course on “Understanding the Bolted Joint” to its Certified Fastener Specialist program.
The advanced class will demonstrate why tension in bolts and screws is more critical than the applied torque. Course participants will learn calculation of general torque recommendations.
