Las Vegas Hotels Cut Prices

Room rates for the two official hotels were lowered for the 2002 National Industrial Fastener Show/West.
The Paris Hotel rate dropped from $172 per night to $139 and Ballys was reduced from $152 to $99.
Show participants who have already registered at higher prices must contact the hotel in advance for the lower rate. Paris can be contacted at 888 266-5687 or 702 967-3836 and Ballys at 800 833-3308 or 702 739-4111.
The price drop comes after an article in the September 10, 2002, Fastener Industry News on “How to Cut Costs at Las Vegas,” showed Ballys rooms were cheaper by registering online at ballys.com.
The FIN article also noted rates at nearby discount chain motels remain less expensive: Econolodge on Flamingo Avenue (econolodge.com), Days Inn Town Hall Casino & Hotel on Koval Lane (daysinntownhall.com) and Super 8 on Koval (Super8.com).
As of September 30, at $79 the Wednesday night Ballys online rate was still cheaper, but other nights were at the same $99 as the new lower show rate.
The show will be November 21-22, 2002, at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. The Hall of Fame luncheon, conferences and opening reception will be on November 20.
