Leo Coar & Surinder Sakhuja Named to NIFMSE Hall of Fame

Distributor’s Link founder, editor and publisher Leo Coar and Stelfast Inc. founder Surinder Sakhuja were named to a renewed National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo hall of fame in conjunction with the trade show.
The NIFMSE hall of fame previously was held from 1982 to 2008.
NIFMSE will be October 22-24, 2014, at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.
Show general manager Susan Hurley reported 780 booths have been sold thus far to 595 companies from 17 countries.
The current record is 829 set in 2007. The largest show in Columbus, OH, was 653 booths in 1998.
Conference programs and an opening reception are on Wednesday, October 22, and the trade show is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
The International Fastener Machinery & Suppliers Association is sponsoring an “Oktoberfest Beer Party” for manufacturers of fasteners and precision formed parts from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday in the Machinery & Tooling World section.
Online registration is available at fastenershows.com. Attendee registration is $45 until August 29; then $55 until October 16; and from there to onsite registration is $65.
