Lindstrom Names Lucas VP of Business Development
Lindstrom named Rob Lucas vice president of business development.
Lindstrom CEO Mike Wrenn cited Lucas’ “wealth of experience in sales, engineering, manufacturing technology, quality systems and Asian sourcing. He is a great addition to the team with a tremendous background and deep technical expertise. Rob will be a key resource for our people, our customers and our suppliers.”
Lucas has 26 years experience in fastener manufacturing and importing. Most recently he was president of Hong Kong-based Fidelis Fasteners, a global sourcing firm for fastener distributors, which Lucas bought out from investors including co-founder Larry Thomas in 2010. Lucas joined Fidelis in 2008 after being vice president of mill, engineering and technical services at Heads & Threads International. In 2010 Lucas founded Global Fastener Network LLC with Mike McGuire as an importing and buying service. In 2011 the network started a marketing program with American Fastener Journal to feature suppliers in articles.
Lucas conducted conference programs on importing issues at 2009 and 2010 National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expos in Columbus and Las Vegas.
