Lowry Supply of Ohio Turns 60

Lowry Supply in Salem, OH, is marking its 60th year in business.

The industrial fastener and tool supplier was founded in 1953 as Lowry Supply Hardware after founder Ray Lowry bought the old Builders Supply store.

By 1960 the company was distributing industrial supplies exclusively. Lowry Supply acquired Tri-Co Tool Sales in Akron in 1971.

Today Lowry Supply has 14 employees with annual sales in excess of $7 million. Lowry’s customer base includes steel mills, tool and die shops, machine shops, steel fabricators and machinery manufacturers throughout the region.

The company stocks all grades and types of nuts, bolts, washers and socket products. Fasteners are available in all steel grades as well as stainless steel, brass and bronze. Special fasteners are “made to print.”

Lowry Supply represents top companies such as Infasco, Kerr Lakeside, Nucor and Unbrako.
