The International Fastener Manufacturing Exhibition is joining with Fastener Fair USA for 2021.
Fastener Fair USA and IFME are now slated for June 22-24, 2021, in Cleveland.
Ray Zirkle of the International Fastener Machinery & Suppliers Association cited “great value in the combined shows” for members and buyers.
“The combination of the two shows brings fastener machinery, manufacturing, distribution and end-users together for one comprehensive event,” IFMSA sales director Doug Zirkle said.
The multi-year agreement calls for machinery exhibits at the mostly-distributor oriented trade show.
“Bringing IFME and Fastener Fair USA together creates a fresh approach to the fastener and fixing industry event cycle,” event VP Kate Scott said. She predicted “new and more attendees increasing the value to all exhibitors.”
IFMSA has attempted working with the International Fastener Expo in Las Vegas and the Wire Association in Atlanta. The machinery trade show was once a stand-alone convention in Cleveland.
Fastener Fair USA was first held in Cleveland in 2018, followed by Detroit the next year. The third Fastener Fair USA was originally scheduled to be in Charlotte in 2020. The pandemic forced postponements and eventually the 2020 show was dropped.
Fastener Fair’s largest show is held biennially in Stuttgart, Germany. Fastener Fair also has trade shows in Mexico, India, Turkey, Italy and France.
IFME includes technology, machinery, equipment and services for fastener manufacturing. IFMSA has 100 member companies. Web: ifmsainfo.com
