Matheny Opens NorthStar

Mickey Matheny opened NorthStar Sales & Marketing as a rep agency. Initial clients include Heads & Threads International, Screws Industries, Bolts & Screws and Tormex.

Matheny started in the fastener industry in 1974 handling southeastern sales for International Fastener of California. In 1976 in joined Allied International and in 1986 opened a rep agency Great Southern Sales. For the past nine years Matheny was director of mill sales for Heads & Threads. Matheny was president of the Southeastern Fastener Association in 1993.
