McGuire To Lead Monogram Aerospace Fasteners

TriMas Corp. appointed Brian McGuire as president of Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, effective immediately. McGuire will assume the overall business responsibility for Monogram Aerospace Fasteners.

Most recently McGuire, who has been with TriMas for seven years, served as president of the TriMas’ Norris Cylinder business. Jerad “Jerry” Van Auken was promoted to president of Norris Cylinder.

Both McGuire and Van Auken will report to Edward Schwartz, executive vice president of TriMas.

“Both Brian and Jerry are proven leaders within our organization,” commented Ed Schwartz. “They have successfully led product expansion and international growth initiatives and have the experience and foresight to drive continued growth at Monogram Aerospace Fasteners and Norris Cylinder.”

During 2007 TriMas reported sales at it Industrial Specialties segment, including fasteners, grew 16.7% to $204.6 million on improved aerospace demand, while operating profit rose 15% to $41.8 million.
